Windmill and Benefits
by THE SHEEP

Windmill_In_Full_Glory.jpg

As the farm continues operation, the windmill seems to be bringing many benefits for the animals. Ever since the revolution the animals have grown more hay, and produced more eggs. Today the windmill has allowed them to have a threshing machine, hay elevator, and corn, which is bringing them profit. It has also caused the other farms to combine with Animal Farm. This increases production, and the population of animals. The profit has allowed animals to buy whisky, and materials to build the school. The windmill has caused the farmers to become allies with the animals as well. The farmers include Mr. Pilkington, and Mr. Fredrick. This shows that Napoleon is a great leader and that he has a mind full of success. Napoleon has brought peace to the animals by bringing themselves and the people together as one. In 2 years they will have another windmill making even more profit for the animals. After the windmills are made they will continue to work as they always do. “The life on Animal Farm will be great. I know it.”

ANIMAL HERO

Late one evening during the summer one of our greatest workers died. This animal was named Boxer. He was working that evening on the windmill when suddenly two pigeons cried out that Boxer had fallen. Clover ran to see Boxer, but when she got there Boxer could barely breathe and blood was coming out of his mouth. Clover told Benjamin to go tell the pigs about what had happened. After the pigs arranged for Boxer to go to the hospital. For the next two days Boxer remained in the stall and during that time he was given medicine. His dream if he lived was to retire, improve his mind, and learn the 22 letters of the alphabet. The next day he was brought to the hospital. Three days later at Willingdon Hospital Boxer died. His last words were “Long live Animal Farm! Long live Napoleon! Napoleon is always right!” After he died Napoleon gave an honorable speech and the animals placed a wreath on his grave. How could we lose someone that is so noble, loyal, and brave? He was not just and animal he was an honorable soldier. He got us through hard times such as war, and corruption. He will always be remembered as the greatest worker there ever was on Animal Farm.
